Positive references make you thoughtful and imaginative. This is the point where you have to be more creative. There is a strategy for being creative. When you travel in a plane, there is always a curiosity about who is going to sit next to you. When you travel by train and you see the reservation chart, then you always look for who is sitting next to you. Have you ever asked yourself why a person does so? It is because of the emotional thought process and giving a wing to imagination. Let us see, feel and hear the positive emotion in a deeper sense. We can check and correct any behavior by using emotions in the right way.

Abundance
According to Jean Paul Satre, there is an abundance of possibilities in human beings. The moment you find an opportunity and you believe that you truly deserve it, you get unbelievable powers from the cosmic energy. In my firewalks I always say that if you take the first step, the rest will follow. Abundance is the deeper sense of alertness and awareness of being. Let us model the success stories of Henry Ford and Soichoro Honda. Henry Ford wanted to produce an engine in which all eight cylinders would be kept together. He discussed this with his engineers, but all of them said it was not possible. Ford ordered them to do some research and at last they were able to produce the V-8 engine. In the Second World War an American aircraft had destroyed Honda’s factory and then earthquake followed. He produced an engine which made a cycle to run on motor. He got huge demands from his friends. In 1947, after the World War II, when he started his factory he had no money to buy parts. He had to sell the ornaments of his wife. Later on this was a success story. Therefore we must create a win-win strategy.

Faith and Belief
Faith is the most powerful emotion. All religions have the power to create faith. Any person, let him be of any religion, if he truly believes in a religion, he can create wonders. In this emotion the people surrender themselves to the Almighty, be it in a temple, mosque, or a church and get absolutely relaxed. Let us model
the success story of G. D. Birla. Birla started his business in the area of jute manufacturing by being a broker. He had passed fifth class and used to stay in a single room. He had faith in himself and his thought process was even faster than the Britishers. He acquired a significant name in the business in which the Britishers were dominant. If you always keep faith without questioning your belief, you will be successful.

Compassion
Compassion has deeper sense of understanding others. The process of compassion forces an individual to think about every creature of the universe. In today’s world, where materialism is the first consideration, terrorism is on the top. The answer to all questions is nothing but compassion. You have to understand the pain of others. You have to get connected with each individual in respect of sadness and happiness. Let us model the life story of Mother Teresa. She got connected with the poor street children and the lepers. She had lot of love and affection for all human beings. Similarly Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr had a great compassion and love for mankind.

Congruence and Reference
Congruence refers to a deeper understanding, bringing mind, body, and emotions together. If you make an
incantation of the same word, you feel like you have achieved everything in your life. Whenever Mohammad Ali used to go in the boxing ring he would always say, “I am the greatest.” This statement used to give him the physiological boost. Let me tell you, no mantra has the power—in fact the way you incant gives you power.

Love, Appreciation and Gratitude
This has a deeper meaning for the perceiver. If you love yourself and people, and you deeply thank them, you will make a way for success. Let us model the legendary Amitabh Bachhan. In 1995 he opened an entertainment company ABCL. But unfortunately this company didn’t do well. He had a debt of 90 crore rupees and 55 legal cases against him. He was left with one house and that too was mortgaged. The bank had issued a notice for its auction as well. It was truly a bad time for him. This was the time when he came on television to anchor KBC on Star channel. The love of children, youth, and old people was so powerful that Amitabh Bachhan became more popular. If you spread love and affection, then you are always going to get it back.

Prudence
This is the most powerful emotion for getting a sense of achievement. It gives a vision and direction. In my eyes, the greatest man in India who is instrumental for the growth of Indian economy is Dr Manmohan Singh In 1992, when he was the finance minister, he had visualised the prudent power of India. Similarly, I also respect Dr Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, for having a prudent vision of technology in India. His company TIFAC has a tremendous role to play. Because of his vision, he has become the youth icon who is loved by every countryman. He has promised to educate one lakh young children every year. God bless him. Dr Kalam, the country needs you. You can truly inspire the coming generation. They are looking towards you for becoming a technologically independent country.

Gifted
The moment we feel we are gifted, our confidence goes up. Take the example of Hitler. He knew that he was the greatest speaker in the world and that one tool made him so powerful. Similarly Winston Churchill believed that he could be the greatest speaker in the world. Even though he used to stammer in his childhood, by challenging his limitations he became the Prime Minister of England. He believed that he had a gifted power. If you think that God has given you a special power, you can master it and dominate the whole world.

Accountable
The feeling of being accountable makes you responsible. I always say in my seminars—give freedom to your child, then only he or she will become responsible. This responsibility will generate accountability. Once I was sitting in a restaurant and I saw a boy who wanted to hold the hand of his girlfriend. The girl kept looking in a different direction. I could guess the girl was not accepting the accountability of being a lover. Whenever I see a drunk man or a gambler, I realise that just one thing is missing there, that is accountability. Even if you model the life history of Charles Darwin, then you will find that he came up with his theory of “Survival of the fittest” because of his accountability towards nature and the laws of development. He was suffering from indigestion and fever, but he still wrote the book The Origin of Species.\ The moment we feel accountable, we change our perception and role for betterment.

Determination
Determination is the most powerful tool and the strongest emotion for pursuing any act that you commit. If you consider Alexander Graham Bell, then you realise that it was his commitment and his determination that made him invent the telephone. Similarly, Wright brothers were committed to invent the flying machine. Again, Marconi was committed to invent the radio signal. All these inventions came just because of high determination power. Life is filled with pitfalls. If you and I want to make a mark, then we have to be as
determined as the above people.

Worthwhile
We should always consistently ask quality questions as we know that it is the quality of a question which shapes the quality of life.
